Make Money from your Writing with DocCash

by Joanna Penn on May 23, 2009

As part of my Author 2.0 survey last week, people overwhelmingly wanted to learn how they can make more money from their writing. Well, here is a new way from Docstoc – it’s called DocCash.

Docstoc is a document sharing website (similar to Scribd but for professional documents). I have used it to post articles on for SEO (search engine optimisation) as Google seems to like it. I have had over 7000 views and nearly 400 downloads of my articles and have had sign-ups for my free workbook as a result.

DocCash enables you to share in the Google Adsense revenue generated by adverts displayed next to your articles/documents. This encourages you to create documents that are great for search engines so more people find them and more hits are generated.

If you are already using Article Marketing as a way to generate traffic, you might also consider posting your writing/articles here in order to generate some revenue. As this is new, I can’t say how successful it will be for you – but it is certainly an interesting development!

Here is my profile on Docstoc so you can see the types of articles I have posted. I’ll keep you posted as to whether DocCash is a good revenue stream!

I see you are getting targeted traffic from there as well.

Document sharing websites are great for targeted traffic.

This is easy money for article marketers and writers because the more you upload, the better your chances for making some cash.

Not to mention the SEO benefits and the targeted traffic.
