  • Hi Joanna!
I've seen your blog posts and read a few of them, but after watching this video I'm amazed at you. You've sold me on the UTube thing. I feel so much more "connected" to you after watching you speak. I love your energy! I wish I could follow you around for a week. (I'd probably end up in the hospital from exhaustion.) Where do you speak in the US for this year and next? I can't imagine how you manage all your "sites" and still write fiction. Amazing. I'm in awe. Thanks for all you do and all you give.

    • Hi Michelle,
Thanks so much and I'm glad you find the video helps you "see" who I am behind all these words :) I don't do all this every week of course, a lot of time I am just quietly at my desk writing, so that wouldn't be so fun to watch!
I do chunk my time so I spend specific days writing fiction and others doing the business side of things.
In terms of speaking in the US, I haven't had the opportunity to do that yet, so I am waiting to be asked :)
      Thanks, Joanna

  • Hi Joanna -

I wish I had your IT expertise. You're a writing machine. You know all the tools so well. Impressive.

I've been thinking all day about how you could break into the US market with a public speaking gig. Maybe you don't want to, but you're good! You should.

I want to attend the ACFW (American Christian Fiction Writers) Conference in September 2013 because it's only a few hours away. They're looking for speakers. I've never done this before but I have an interest. (Only spoke/taught writing at our library.) I wish you had a curriculum that I could follow and teach here and give you the business/the credit. They don't pay real well so it probably wouldn't be worth you time to fly here.

I'm thinking about speaking on BRANDING--the how to's, what it is, for authors/writers. That's how I found your blog. I was looking for curriculum ideas. The pitch has to be submitted the first week in December.

Anyway, thanks for inspiring me and let me know if I can help open any doors here in the US for you. (Not sure how as I'm really a nobody from a small town in Indiana. Ha! But I'm not shy.)

    Michelle
