Hi Joanna:
I enjoy your blog -- and your tweets!

And I completely agree with you that all writers should engage in the various types of social media. I love my blog and mainly write about writing on it. As writing is a big part of my life, musing about life appear from time to time.

I use Twitter (I am @wizardofwords) to help build my "author's platform and the blog is contributing to that as well.

Linked-In is strictly for freelance business contacts. Facebook I use for real-life friends.

My website is outdated and I will having it updated shortly. That is where I showcase my writing samples and give more info about my professional accomplishments, etc.

All these things work together and are a necessary part of the professional writer's portfolio.
