<description>I have been living on dialysis for over two decades now, i have extensive experience in both Hemo and Peritoneal Dialysis treatment. I decided after sharing so much of my experience and knowledge, with other fellow dialysis pts. at my unit, that i was encouraged by techs, nurses, as well as fellow pts. that i should share my experience and knowledge with others out there faced with dialysis for their continued survival. I am also a member of the San Francisco Chapter of the Polycystic Kidney Foundation, as well as the National Kidney Foundation. My goal for publishing these books, is to bring the continued awareness of CKD, and to urge people to get tested for possible early stage CKD, so that preventive measures can be taken to help in prolonging or even in some cases, reverse the progression of CKD. It is much urgency to be tested as a person with a history or family history of diabetes and/or high blood pressure (2 of the main causes of CKD). CKD is very seriously on the rise in this country, and in my opinion, i feel that the media has ignored this very important awareness for far too long. We need a voice, and i am vigorously doing all i can, to be that voice, that spreads the awareness. So what do i have to do to get a national talk show to take notice. March is National Kidney Month, and i have tried to reach out to varies national talk shows to consider doing a show topic that focus on this rapidly widespread awareness of CKD. i hope to hear from you real soon, thank you for taking the time to read my plight with CKD.
